Oratory’s logo was in need of refining and modernization. An evolution of the original design includes an adjustment of the shape and color of the cross and a refinement of the circle graphic to create a timeless expression of the school’s brand.
The concept of true balance—shown below in the school’s Guide to the Brand—resulted in a new tagline: Prepared for Life, Brothers for Good. The tagline is uniquely Oratory in that it connects to the school’s commitment to service and a often-used quote from St. Philip Neri, “WELL! when shall we have a mind to begin to do good?”
A reimagining of the illustration of the school’s mascot modernized the school’s logo for athletics and served as a clear extension of the institution’s visual identity. With this updated mascot, the school took the opportunity to create new apparel and other gear for Rams to show their school spirit.
